SunPath is for
Individuals struggling to show up authentically in relationships, feeling challenged to stay connected to others without losing connection to themselves
Family members struggling to remain connected while recovering from past relational wounds, whose past is clouding their present
Couples caught in interactional cycles they cannot seem to get out of, tired of repeating the same fights
Relationships that feel stuck, with partners unsure if it is the right relationship for them and what change is needed to create the relationship they desire
Professional leaders seeking impartial insight, eager to better navigate the interpersonal dynamics that are holding their business back
Couples working to heal from infidelity, who seek to rebuild relational trust after it has been broken
Insight + Change + Integration
Insight alone is insufficient for change. While most work starts by increasing awareness around the deeper issues that clients' symptoms are rooted in, I draw from relational and experiential models of therapy so clients can practice different ways of relating to themselves, their problems, and others while in session. To deepen this work, I often assign "homework" to be completed outside of session. We run these "experiments" to gather and share feedback with me about what does and doesn’t work, and we make adjustments accordingly.
SunPath empowers people to
Accept and learn from their difficult thoughts and emotions so they can effectively share them with others to become their strongest advocates
Illuminate the processes and patterns that hold them back from finding the answers themselves to problems they face
Communicate effectively, closing the gap between what they intend to express and how it is perceived by others
Improve relationships to themselves, increasing their ability to identify emotions, what they are rooted in, and how they manifest in the body
Identify relational patterns, and the thoughts and behaviors that shape them, to create room to show up differently in relationships
